To complete the attestation process in Delhi there are three types of certificates and documents: Academic Certificates, Personal Certificates, and Commercial Documents.
Academic Certificates: Mark Sheets, Diploma Certificates, Degree Certificates, Transcript Certificates, etc.
Personal Certificates: Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Death Certificates, Medical Certificates, PCC, Divorce Certificates, etc.
Commerce Documents: Memorandums of Articles, Company Registration, Company Invoices, Power of Attorney, etc.
The attestation process in Delhi starts with the Notary verification, then, the State Home Ministry attests the certificates according to their type (for Personal certificates- Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM)/ General Administrative Department (GAD)/ Regional Authentication Center (RAC)/ Home Department and, for Academic certificates- Human Resource Development (HRD) / Education Department). Then, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the respective Embassy of the Destination country will validate the certificates to prove their authenticity and lawfulness to use overseas.
